For Generations to come...

We have been given the 1st of hopefully 4 approvals through the Generations Adoptions agency. We are really excited. We will be meeting with the director of the agency on April 3 in Waco. At this meeting we will learn more about the organization and how we can expect things to go. We will also have the opportunity to ask questions. (for those of you that have suggestions on good questions that I may want to ask, please email them to me travkaypeter@yahoo.com I would really appreciate your input) The only thing that we are a little disappointed about is that the wait time has been extended for those couples that are waiting for Caucasian babies. Rather than being 6-9 months from the end of the application process, we are now looking at 18-24 months. Travis made a good point in saying that before..we had no idea when or if we would/could get pregnant and now we are looking forward to a couple years at the longest. At least we have a end point to look forward to. We are going to try our hardest to remain positive and know that God's timing will be perfect for us.

Oh I have a friend who is adopting, and has been praying for her baby and the parents because she knows that right about now is when her baby is being conceived. So that's a really cool thing that you are able to plan and pray for your baby now and in the months to come!
