Proverbs 3:5

In the very first bible that I received from my parents, this was the verse that mom had written on the inside cover. Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." Over the 20 years that I have been a Christian, I have klung to this verse many times. Today Travis and I received notice from the adoption agency, that a couple has left the agency and therefore there is an opening for the earlier class in June. This is a true blessing. What this means is that we now get to attend the Home Study preparation class in June and we do not have to wait for October. This is a mandatory class that is only offered 2-3 times a year but is a pre-requiste to being considered as adoptive parents. (since this is a small agency there is really no need to offer the class more than 2 times a year, they were thinking that this year they may have to hold 3 classes) Needless to say, we are THRILLED! When you have such a desire as ours, the difference between June and October means the world. We are so excited and thank you all for your supportive e-mails, letters, and most of all your prayers! God is good and in His timing we KNOW we will be blessed with a baby.
