Miss Zoie Noelle

Well this weekend we were so thrilled that Jill & Bill were headed out of town for a wedding..this meant that we got Zoie all weekend! We had a blast. I surprised Zoie and picked her up early from school on Friday. We stopped through McDonalds to get her a treat. That night we played and played with her. She is so much fun right now because she laughs at everything Travis does and she is just so happy all the time. Saturday we both went with Travis to the gun range to get his gun ready for hunting season. Actually we dropped Travis off and then Zoie and I went shopping...what is a girls weekend with no shopping? I enjoyed getting to spoil her and buy her all kinds of new outfits..a surprise for mommy too! That afternoon we went to visit Chris, Nikki, and Luke. We all headed to Diane's house and carved pumpkins where Zoie's G-Ma joined us. We really had a perfect day! Too bad after church on Sunday, mom took Zoie back home. But let me tell you, we enjoyed every second as we do not get our niece and nephews near as often as we would love to but for the times we do have we cherish them so much. This weekend was also very encouraging to me...I really got to see what a great daddy Travis is someday going to be, he helped so much with Miss Zoie and even woke her up, dressed, feed, and packed Zoie up for church...all while I was getting myself ready for worship! What an amazing husband I have! The only bad thing about this weekend...NO PICTURES! I am horrible I know, hard lesson learned.
