1 + 30 = Birthday Party

I am late getting this posted, but last weekend Travis and I were busy! On Saturday we celebrated Luke (our nephews) FIRST birthday! He was so adorable. Between the time of his party and now, Little man is walking all over the place. At the party, he was still really unsure of the whole walking bit, but now he is Mr. Independent. Luke had a really fun party that included friends and family.

We also celebrated our friend Rebecca's 30th Birthday! She had a really fun idea to go roller skating. We had the whole rink to ourselves. Travis and I had forgot how much fun skating was. We skated all night and even got to help Zoie learn to skate actually mostly walk around the rink. We did fun things like skating games, the Hokie-Pokie, Chicken Dance, and the birthday skate. For anyone wanting ideas for 30th birthday parties, this was really fun for kids and especially the adults.

I would soooo like to have an 80s skate party or just a skate party for my 30th. How fun!

What a FUN way to celebrate birthdays! And your little nephew is SO cute!! Do you know where they got that "I'm one!" shirt? I would love to get one for Charlie... maybe I could just make one or something though.

Cute hair, Kay! :) That IS a great idea for a birthday. I was nervous at first to see Jill on the rink until I saw she wasn't wearing skates. :)
